Penis Patches vs. Penis Pills

Posted by jake on November 12th, 2007 under Men's Sexual Enhancement

As the penis enhancement market expands and becomes more and more mainstream, many men are starting to take notice of the possibilities opened by the male enhancement products. However, every new customer that joins the trend has the same question on his lips: which product should I choose? Some customers make their own research before buying anything and know what they are looking for, but most new customers have little idea how penis enhancement products work. Thus, many men find themselves comparing products they have never heard of and trying to decide which one is better. For instance, not a lot of people understand the differences between penis enhancement pills and patches.

Let’s use for this comparative presentation two high quality penis enhancement products: ProSolution Pills and ProEnhance. As the brand name implies, ProSolution is a male enhancement formula sold as pills, while ProEnhance is a mixture of natural substances packed into a patch. The biggest differences between these two products is the means by which the substances are delivered and, of course, the formulas themselves. There is little, if any, difference in effectiveness, although there are groups of people who claim that one or the other of the two contending products is better.

As everybody knows, pills work by reaching the stomach and dissolving there. Once the stomach acids tear the capsule apart, the substances pass through the liver and into the blood stream and start doing their work. In order for ProSolution Pills to be effective, the concentration of active substances inside the body must be maintained by taking one pill per day. The patch, however, works by sending the active substances through the skin directly in the blood vessels. Thus the substances avoid some of the processing that occurs in the stomach and liver. This delivery method has the added advantage that patches have to be changed every few days and not every single day, which gives ProEnhance a slight edge over pills.

Ultimately, choosing between these two products is a matter of taste, since both are effective and popular penis enhancement solutions with well-established reputations. It’s up to the buyer to choose between pills that he has to remember to take every day and a “put on and forget” patch that lasts a couple of days. The only important thing is to make an informed decision and avoid spending money on products that either do not work or, worse, are bad for the customer.

Maca Increases Libido

Historical or traditional use: Maca root has been an important food for the native people in the Andes of Peru, including the Incas, for at least 2,000 years. It is eaten baked, dried, mixed with milk, or in a variety of other forms and dishes. It is also traditionally believed to enhance strength, endurance, libido, and fertility.

Active constituents: Maca contains substantial quantities of protein, fat, fiber, and minerals including iron, which also contribute to its nutritional value. It also contains glucosinolates, the strong-smelling compounds that are responsible for the pungent smell and taste of mustard family plants. Neither these nor any other constituents in maca have definitively been shown to contribute to its actions.

Preliminary studies have shown that maca can increase libido in healthy men. It does this without influencing levels of testosterone or any other sex hormones. Healthy men who take maca have also been shown to have increased semen volume, increased sperm counts, and enhanced sperm motility.

Numerous animal studies show that maca extracts can increase sex drive and improve fertility. Other studies support that it can relieve the negative effects of stress reactions. The red cultivar, though not the black or cream, also reduced enlarged prostates in rats.

Prevent Premature Ejaculation

Self Distraction to prevent premature ejaculation: If your arousal levels are getting too high and a climax is beginning, take a deep breath and think about something else, something very boring if possible.

When you are less aroused but maintaining an erection you can then continue. Stop and Start Method for premature ejaculation If you find yourself nearing climax withdraw your penis from your partner and allow yourself to relax enough to prevent ejaculation. By starting and stopping sexual stimulation you can learn to prolong the sex act.

Squeeze Methods can help prevent premature ejaculation. This method involves either the man or his partner squeezing (fairly firmly) the end or the tip of the penis for 10 to 20 seconds when ejaculation is imminent, withholding stimulation for about 30 seconds, then continuing stimulation. This can be repeated until ejaculation is desired. The stop and start method can be used with the squeeze method as well.

Desensitizing Creams for premature ejaculation: Creams can be used to desensitize the end of the penis. They act like a local or tropical anesthetic. Thicker condoms (or two condoms) can also desensitize by decreasing sensitivity and therefore stimulation, thus prolonging the sexual act.

More Foreplay also prevents premature ejaculation. Stimulate your partner to a state of high arousal before you have your genitals touched, that way ejaculation and orgasm can be achieved about the same time.

Masturbation to prevent premature ejaculation: Practice different methods by yourself. Getting to know your feelings and sensations gives you the chance to gain confidence.

Remember getting good at sex and overcoming premature ejaculation can take a bit of time. Practice makes perfect. If you find that things are not improving then help is available from sex therapists who are experts in this field.
